Doodles

Doodles

This collection is my own personal style. One day as I sat thinking about famous artists such as Van Gogh, Matisse, and Jackson Pollock I wondered how they achieved their fame. All of these men died before 1960 so I know for a fact it wasn’t social media. When you read through their stories these men didn’t become famous from luck or popularity. The reason these men and their works became famous was from their techniques. Each painting had at least a touch of their famous methods. For Van Gogh it was pointillism, Pollock would splash and pour paint onto a horizontal surface, and Matisse was known for his color and fluid work. They all had a style and it was creative and their own. In these paintings I created my own style. It’s a mixture of several colors, doodles, random paint marks with different tools, & lots of texture. These paintings were extremely fun to make and I fell in love with each of them. I hope you enjoy these paintings as much as I do.
